Presentation of the model developed at mediTEC for the personalized prediction of knee biomechanics of the knee joint for total knee arthroplasty in an AnyBody Webcast

mediTEC alumnus Dr.-Ing. Malte Asseln presented the musculoskeletal multi-body simulation model developed as part of his work at the Chair in an AnyBody webcast entitled "Personalized Musculoskeletal Modeling to Predict Total Knee Arthropasty Mechanics from Clinical Input Data".

This model was later extended by Dr.-Ing. Sonja Ehreiser and published and validated in the journal "Biomechanics" under the title "Personalized Prediction of Total Knee Arthroplasty Mechanics Based on Sparse Input Data – Model Validation Using in Vivo Force Data" (DOI: 10.3390/biomechanics5010008).
