The mediTEC team is engaged in basic research issues as well as in application-oriented aspects of the development and evaluation of computer assisted and model driven therapy systems. The effective development of these systems is based on the successful interdisciplinary cooperation of medical and engineering sciences. Our activities cover a wide range of subjects from feasbility studies to usability testing and clinical trials e.g. in orthopaedics, traumatology, neurosurgery, general surgery, interventional radiology and cardiology in close cooperation with international academic, clinical and industrial partners.
