Biomechanical Modelling and Simulation
Modeling of a priori knowledge on morphology and function is an essential basis for efficient patient-specific therapy planning. Supplemented by the most efficient possible acquisition of patient-specific image data and other clinical diagnostic data, a simulation and planning model is created, which on the one hand provides an important basis for the development of innovative implant concepts and on the other hand also enables patient-specific planning and simulation of surgical interventions in the clinic.
In our research projects with international cooperation partners from clinics, research and industry, we develop basics and applications for clinical practice.
