DGBMT Prize of the Klee Family Foundation 2025 for Dr. Sonja Ehreiser

In 2025, the German Society for Biomedical Engineering within VDE (VDE DGBMT) awards the 1st prize of the Klee Family Foundation, endowed with € 5,000, to Dr.-Ing. Sonja Ehreiser for her dissertation entitled "Optimization of Patient Matching in Total Knee Arthroplasty through Improved Implant Sizing and Detailed Fit Assessment", which she wrote at our Chair of Medical Engineering in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Dr.-Ing. Ehreiser passed her doctoral examination in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering with distinction in May 2024. Second reviewer was Prof. Eric Stindel/Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Brest (France). The award ceremony will take place during this year's annual conference of the German (VDE DGBMT), Austrian (ÖGBMT) and Swiss (SSBE) Societies for Biomedical Engineering in Muttenz (Switzerland).
