Dr. Jan Heibeyn appointed to the committee for VDI 5801 Circulation Processes for Medical Devices

On October 15, 2025, Dr Jan Heibeyn was appointed to the VDI committee responsible for drafting VDI Guideline 5801 on circulation processes for medical devices. Dr Heibeyn brings his experience in reprocessing medical devices and related approaches to process automation and optimization from his doctoral thesis at the chair of medical engineering to the guideline.
